Daniel's Revelation and David's Throne

Even if we did not have explicit scripture stating that we would someday  reign on the earth (Revelation 5:9, Matthew 5:) there is ample evidence of this fact stated in other places in God's Word.
For instance, Daniel's interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream depicts the Kingdom of God replacing all other empires and states emphatically:  "...and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth" (Daniel 2:35b).  This was interpreted in verse 44 to be the Kingdom of God.  The Babylonian Empire, the Medo-Persian Empire and the Roman Empire on earth is taken by God's Kingdom.
Again, the promise is made that Jesus will reign from a specific place and throne.  Listen to this anointed message from the Apostle Peter on the Day of Pentecost:  "Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, He (God) would raise up Christ to sit on His (David's) throne (Acts 2:30, Luke 1:31,32).  The throne of David of course was in Jerusalem and Jesus will reign on this earth
from the throne of David.
Again, we are promised that when Jesus comes again and takes His earthly throne, we will reign with Him (Matthew 19:28).  But we are limited to a specific time period for this event.  Those parameters are set by a revelation given to the Apostle Paul.  In the following verses, we are told:
(1 Corinthians 15:22-28):
    1.  There is a chronological order to these events.
    2.  It states that Jesus will return from heaven and those that belong to Christ will be resurrected.
    3.  Jesus will put down all power and authority.
    4.  He will reign until he has accomplished this.
    5.  He will deliver the kingdom to His Father.
This establishes the time line.  It begins when Jesus returns and ends when He has finished the job of subduing the kingdoms of this earth.  And of course, we know this time period is one thousand years.
